The Company distributes the TiVo DVR devices through consumer electronics retailers and through online store at TiVo.com. Further, it provides TiVo service on Set top boxes through agreements with satellite and cable television service providers; and broadcasting companies. The Company generates revenues from the consumer services, Television Service Providers, media services as well as licensing arrangements. As of January 31, 2013, there were approximately 3.1 million subscriptions to the TiVo service through its TiVo-Owned and MSO businesses.
